Public Archaeology Day – August 11th and 12th

The Ontario Archaeological Society‘s Huronia Chapter in cooperation with Simcoe County Forests and the support of the OAS is hosting a limited dig at a site within a county forest located between Midland and Penetang on August 11th and 12th, 2012.

The dig will be conducted under the licence of Dr. Alicia Hawkins of Laurentian U. Anyone interested in participating in this event should contact the Huronia chapter. The number of participants will be limited by the number of qualified volunteers and resources available.
Please email the Chapter President John Raynor at ASAP if you wish to attend.
